Postings at Laboratory Entrance

The following information should be posted at the entrance to workspaces where hydrogen is used or stored, in clear view of all who enter:

  • General workspace information (including the name of the workspace, the activity conducted in the workspace, the room number, the building name, and the emergency evacuation route)
  • Emergency response and call information (see Workspace Safety and Emergency Response Information).
  • Identification of hazards (e.g., compressed or cryogenic hydrogen, metal hydrides)
  • Map showing the location of hydrogen storage as well as primary and secondary gas shutoffs
