Abstract
The global context for hydrogen is changing:
Major Asian car manufacturers are gearing up for the coming FCEV market. And there has been progress in micro-CHP systems for stationary applications, particularly in Japan and Korea.
"Power to Gas" is a very hot topic in Europe and there is a lot of activity and plans for hydrogen mobility and infrastructure - using wind as the major source for hydrogen as transportation fuel.
By 2013 in CA funding for as many as 100 hydrogen refueling stations was approved. Nationally, the US has created the new H2 USA and H2FIRST. The US has also had good success in early commercialization efforts with forklifts for material handling.
