Scope
This standard covers fuel cell power systems intended for industrial electrically driven forklifts fueled with hydrogen or methanol. The fuel cells are d.c. type with rated output voltage not exceeding 150 V d.c.

Status Explanation
IEC 62282-4-101 was published in 2014. Adopted as a standard in Germany (DIN EN 62282-4-101:2015), Austria (OVE/ONORM EN 62282-4-101:2015) and EU. A draft for the second edition was posted in July 2020, which includes a title change to Fuel cell power system for electrically powered industrial electric trucks – Safety.
