Abstract

Intensive exploitation conditions may produce differential degradation in raw materials and welded joints of the valves containing fluids with sulphurated hydrogen. The safety in exploitation of these components is influenced by the corrosiove degradation and by the altered layers removal produced by the chemical non homogenous working fluids. There are undertaken different environment actions in areas specific to welded joints made of steels affected by generalized corrosion.
