IEC 62282-4-1000 Fuel Cell Power Systems for Rolling Stock - Performance Requirements and Test Methods

This document covers the performance test methods of fuel cell power systems intended to be used for electrically powered rolling stock for railway applications. Fuel cell power systems described in this document are used for the traction power and the auxiliaries supply of rolling stock such as hybrid vehicles as defined in IEC 62864-1:2016, and an auxiliary onboard power source. This document applies to compressed gaseous hydrogen-fuelled fuel cell power systems for rolling stocks. This document covers fuel cell power systems whose fuel source container is attached to either the rolling stocks or the fuel cell power system. This document applies to DC type fuel cell power systems.
