A project safety plan is the essential document for managing hazards to people, equipment, and the environment. It performs this activity by outlining project hazards, describing preventive and mitigative equipment and protocols, and qualifying program strategies. It is a living document that the Project Manager should ensure is the highest quality, and updated as the project matures
Use this guide for writing a standard hydrogen safety plan. If the safety plan is part of a larger project execution plan, use the guide elements to document evaluation of hazards, risk management, and program strategies.
Consider this guide if your project uses or produces very small amounts of hydrogen, such as university laboratory experiments, or other research effort. The criteria for using this plan are stated in the guide. It minimizes some of the fuller elements of the main guide because of the inherent low risk in these kind of projects.
