Abstract
The paper focuses on liquid hydrogen-powered vehicles such as passenger cars and buses; It describes recent solutions for the on-board storage and supply of the liquid fuel for different vehicles and driving systems, for example in internal combustion engines and fuel cells.
In addition to optimized storage facilities and particular safety components, systems for improved pressure management and a new device supplying an engine with fuel ata constant low temperature are presented. Initial testing of these components is described. (C) 1997 International Association for Hydrogen Energy.
