This standard provides performance test methods for small stationary fuel cells that meet the following criteria: § Rated less than 10 kW § AC output less than 240 V § Operating pressure less than 0.1 MPa § Fuel –gaseous or liquid § Oxidant – air

Status Explanation

Published in July 2015 and a second edition in 2017 which was amended in 2022. 

A Committee Draft for the 3rd edition, which addresses efficiency for a duration up to 10 years and methodology for life cycle calculations, has been circulated. 

Available from www.iec.ch and www.ansi.org. 

This standard has been adopted in: UK (BS EN 62282-3-201:2013), South Africa (SANS 62282-3-201:2021), Austria (OVE/ONORM EN 62282-3-201:2014), Germany (DIN EN 62282-3-201:2018), Japan (JIS C 62282-3-201) and EU.
